OVERVIEW

TheBushyBot is committed to protecting the privacy and security of its users. This Privacy Policy explains what information TheBushyBot collects, why that information is collected, how it is used, and the circumstances under which it may be disclosed.

TheBushyBot is designed to collect and retain only the information reasonably necessary to operate user accounts, authenticate users through Twitch.tv, provide the features of the Service, maintain account security, and comply with applicable law.

TheBushyBot does not sell user information or use user information for advertising profiles or unrelated marketing purposes.

SECTION 1 - DEFINITIONS

"Service" means TheBushyBot and the websites, applications, features, and services provided through TheBushyBot.com.

"Public Account Information" means information associated with a user's Twitch.tv account that is publicly available through Twitch.tv or is provided to TheBushyBot for the purpose of identifying the user's Twitch.tv account. This may include information such as a Twitch.tv username, Twitch.tv user ID, and profile image.

"Account Information" means information that TheBushyBot stores or receives in order to create, authenticate, maintain, and operate a user's TheBushyBot account. This may include an email address, authentication credentials, account settings, subscription status, and other information required to provide the Service.

"Authentication Credentials" means credentials provided through Twitch.tv OAuth that allow TheBushyBot to authenticate a user's account or access authorized Twitch.tv functionality on the user's behalf. These credentials may include access tokens and refresh tokens and are treated as confidential information.

"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, or may reasonably be associated with an individual, where applicable under the laws governing the user's use of the Service.

SECTION 2 - INFORMATION WE COLLECT

TheBushyBot uses Twitch.tv OAuth 2.0 to authenticate users and create or access their TheBushyBot account. When a user chooses to authenticate with Twitch.tv, Twitch.tv provides TheBushyBot with information permitted by the authorization granted to the application.

Depending on the authorization and functionality being used, TheBushyBot may receive or store the following information:

Twitch.tv username - used to identify and display the user's Twitch.tv account.

Twitch.tv user ID - used as a unique identifier for the user's Twitch.tv account and to associate the Twitch.tv account with a TheBushyBot account.

Twitch.tv profile image - used to display the user's Twitch.tv profile image within TheBushyBot.

Email address - used when required for account operation, account-related communication, or other necessary Service functionality.

Authentication credentials - including OAuth access and refresh tokens required to maintain the user's authorized connection to Twitch.tv and provide authorized functionality.

Account settings and Service information - information necessary to operate the user's TheBushyBot account and the features enabled on that account.

TheBushyBot does not intentionally request or collect unrelated personal information such as a user's physical address, telephone number, Social Security number, financial account information, or precise location.

TheBushyBot also does not intentionally create a personal profile about users for advertising, behavioral advertising, or the sale of personal information.

Information associated with a user's Twitch.tv account may be publicly available through Twitch.tv. TheBushyBot uses this information primarily to identify the user's account, display account information, and provide the functionality requested by the user.

SECTION 3 - COMPUTER INFORMATION AND COOKIES

TheBushyBot uses limited browser storage and cookies where necessary to operate the Service.

Essential Cookies:
TheBushyBot may use cookies that are necessary to maintain a user's login session, authenticate requests, maintain security, or provide functionality requested by the user. These cookies are used to operate the Service and are not used for advertising or behavioral tracking.

Because these cookies are necessary for the operation and security of the Service, disabling them may prevent users from logging in or using portions of TheBushyBot.

Analytics and Tracking:
TheBushyBot does not intentionally use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party behavioral advertising technologies for the purpose of tracking users across websites.

Automatic Information:
Like most websites, TheBushyBot's servers or hosting infrastructure may process technical information associated with requests to the Service. This may include information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, request time, referring page, and other information contained in standard server or security logs.

This information may be used when reasonably necessary to operate the Service, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, and protect the Service from unauthorized activity.

SECTION 4 - HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Information collected by TheBushyBot may be used only as reasonably necessary for the operation and security of the Service, including:

to create and maintain your TheBushyBot account

to authenticate you through Twitch.tv OAuth

to maintain your login session

to provide the features and functionality of TheBushyBot

to connect your TheBushyBot account with your Twitch.tv account

to display your Twitch.tv username and profile information within the Service

to maintain and secure your account

to prevent abuse, unauthorized access, fraud, or other misuse of the Service

to provide account-related support or communication

to maintain and improve the reliability and functionality of the Service

to comply with applicable laws or legal obligations

SECTION 5 - SHARING INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES

TheBushyBot does not sell, rent, or provide user information to third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

TheBushyBot may use third-party services that are necessary to operate the Service. These services may process limited information on behalf of TheBushyBot as necessary to provide their respective functionality. Examples may include Twitch.tv authentication and infrastructure, hosting, database, security, or other services required to operate TheBushyBot.

TheBushyBot only intends to provide third parties with information reasonably necessary for the applicable service to function.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect TheBushyBot, its users, or the security and integrity of the Service.

SECTION 6 - DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

TheBushyBot retains account information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the Service, maintain account security, or satisfy applicable legal obligations.

TheBushyBot does not retain information for the purpose of creating advertising profiles or selling user data.

When an account is deleted, TheBushyBot may delete or anonymize account information that is no longer reasonably necessary for the operation of the Service, unless the information must be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal, or other legitimate operational purposes.

Certain authentication credentials may also be revoked or invalidated when an account is disconnected or deleted, where technically applicable.

SECTION 7 - LEGALLY REQUIRED RELEASES OF INFORMATION

TheBushyBot may disclose information when required to do so by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to investigate security incidents, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce the Terms of Service, protect the rights or property of TheBushyBot, or protect the safety of TheBushyBot, its users, or other persons.

SECTION 8 - LINKS TO OTHER SERVICES

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including Twitch.tv. These services operate independently from TheBushyBot and may have their own privacy policies and terms.

TheBushyBot does not control the privacy practices of third-party services. Users should review the privacy policies of those services to understand how those services collect, use, and protect information.

Twitch.tv authentication is provided through Twitch.tv's OAuth system. Information provided to or obtained from Twitch.tv is also subject to Twitch.tv's applicable terms and privacy policies.

SECTION 9 - INTERNATIONAL USERS

TheBushyBot is operated as a service intended primarily for users in the United States and does not specifically target users in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States.

Because authentication is provided through Twitch.tv, users located outside the United States may nevertheless be able to create or access a TheBushyBot account if Twitch.tv makes the Service available to them.

Users who access TheBushyBot from outside the United States are responsible for determining whether they are permitted to use the Service under the laws applicable to them.

SECTION 10 - PRIVACY POLICY UPDATES

TheBushyBot may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, applicable law, or the way information is handled.

When material changes are made, TheBushyBot may provide notice through the Service or by another reasonable method. The updated Privacy Policy will become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
